About the Federation...

What is RSS, and why is it beneficial?

RSS is a technology that is being used by millions of web users around the world to keep track of their favorite websites and blogs. Using RSS is like subscribing to a magazine that is delivered to you as soon as the new issue is published. Subscribing to the Federation's RSS news feed ensures that you will receive announcements about legislation, policies, funding, and other items related to the mind, brain, and behavioral sciences.

Subscribing to a RSS feed has many advantages:

 How do I subscribe?

To subscribe to a RSS feed, you will need to use a RSS "reader." While there are many readers available, Google Reader is a popular choice. There is no installation required, and it can be used with both Windows or Mac.

To get started, follow these three easy steps:

To review any new items from the Federation's feed, you must visit www.google.com/reader. The feeds will be available from any computer once you log into your account.

What if I don't want to use a reader?

If you are not interested in using a reader to subscribe to the Federation's RSS feed, we do provide an alternative method allowing you to subscribe via email updates.

After signing up, you will get an email only if there are new updates. If multiple updates are added on one day, you will only get ONE email with all the updates for that day.

Please note that with an email subscription, you will receive exactly the same content as those who use a reader; however, you will not receive all the benefits that RSS offers, listed at the top of this page.
